The town of Harden-Murrumbah grew up around the time of the gold rush in the late 1850’s. The Shire produces a large variety of crops, particularly stone fruit, as well as farming livestock including ostriches. Each September the town celebrates with an Agricultural Show and don’t miss 'The Best of the Bush' Festival in March.
