Bankstown NSW NSW Country

Officially a city in its own right since the Queen’s visit in May 1980, Bankstown is named in honour of botanist and explorer Sir Joseph Banks.

Bankstown is one of the most ethnically diverse places in Australia, with over 60 languages spoken in the area.
