A compact but lively town at the gateway to the Illawarra, Albion Park includes some great little museums especially if you’re keen on rail and aircraft history.
This well watered area originally attracted a number of graziers in the 1800’s. And it probably didn’t hurt that the beach wasn’t too far away either.
Location and Nearby Townships
Albion Park is just west of the Shell Harbour, and is home to the Illawarra Regional Airport.
